Wonder Box
Create wonder-ful moments together!
ASU's Artful Caregiving program is recruiting parents who have children with medical needs/complexities for a special program with Childsplay theatre company. We are interested in learning more about how playing with your children might impact stress. If you and your child could use a few moments of creative play in your day, this program is for you!

What will your family receive?
- Your family will be shipped three Wonder Boxes full of quick and fun activities to do together -- each take less than 5 minutes!
- Each box will have a special theme and be supported by online videos and activities -- the activities are designed for all ages and abilities.
- You can work through each box at your own pace and your family will have a teaching artist "on call" to check in and provide virtual support.
- We will ask you to report back on which activities you like (and which you don't).
- The boxes are yours to keep! Keep Creating! Keep Imagining! Keep Wondering!
What are the study requirements?
- Participating parents will be asked 10 complete pre- and post-program surveys, participate in a short interview, and provide documentation (e.g. photographs, stories, videos) as appropriate.
- The study is open to families of children with special healthcare needs, with no restrictions on the type of medical complexity.
- All family configurations, income levels, and race/ethnicity are welcome.
- For this round of the study, Wonder Boxes will be provided and supported in English.
